Lake County, OH, awards grants to various community organizations each year. Our goal is to support events and programs focused on culture, history, and the fine and performing arts that also positively impact the travel and tourism industry in Lake County.
Applicants must be an entity incorporated in Lake County with a minimum one-year history of providing public programs or activities specifically related to arts and cultural heritage. The event must also be verified to increase tourism and overnight stays outside Lake County.
The applications will be judged in April of each year, and after they are reviewed, the Bureau's Board of Trustees will officially approve the grants.
The maximum grant award is $10,000. Those granted an award must use the funds within the current year of receiving it.
Tour Lake County recognizes the economic and cultural impact of our arts and culture programs for potential visitors. However, applicants must be aware that the grant funding process is competitive and not an entitlement or guarantee.
