Historical Engine Society Antique Power Exhibition

 53rd Annual Antique Power Exhibition

Lake Metroparks Farmpark will host the Historical Engine Society’s 53rd Annual Antique Power Exhibition on July 26, 27 and 28. This time-honored tradition presents a special collection of beautifully-restored tractors, engines and other historical equipment for enthusiasts of all ages to enjoy. The event also provides an opportunity for guests to learn more about the Historical Engine Society and its mission to preserve and celebrate vintage farm machinery.

The Cockshutt tractor will be featured at this year’s exhibition, symbolizing a bygone era of farming excellence. A fully restored 1958 Cockshutt 540 Utility Tractor — resplendent in Harvest Gold — will be showcased, offering seasoned collectors and curious newcomers alike the chance to observe a rare and unique piece of history. The tractor will then be raffled off at the end of the event. Tickets will be available for purchase directly from the Historical Engine Society. Vintage machinery enthusiasts won’t want to miss this opportunity to own a piece of history.

Various other antique tractors, construction and excavation equipment, cars, trucks, hit and miss engines and more will be on display throughout the event. Guests will also be able to witness live equipment demonstrations, tractor pulls, parades of machinery and earth-moving demonstrations.

“If you or someone you know enjoys machinery—this is the event for you,” explains Lake Metroparks Farmpark Event Manager Andy McGovern. “Whether you’re a seasoned collector or simply appreciate the craftsmanship of classic tractors, this event promises excitement and nostalgia,” McGovern adds.

In addition, guests will enjoy popular Farmpark attractions such as animal encounters, horse shows, educational demonstrations and much more. Pony rides ($6) will also be offered, weather permitting.

Farmpark admission ($7–$9) or membership applies. For event information, visit goto.lakemetroparks.com/antique-power-exhibition.

Lake Metroparks Farmpark is located at 8800 Euclid Chardon Road in Kirtland.
