The Valor of Veterans World War II Military Event is set for Sept.14-15 at Lake County Executive Airport, 1969 Lost Nation Road, Willoughby

Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept 14 and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 15.

The free event will feature a WWII battle reenactment, military artifacts, face painting, balloon animals and more. Staff Sgt. Robert Zonneville of the 8th Infantry, a decorated veteran with two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star who liberated two concentration camps, will be on hand.

This event is free and open to the public.
