Tour Lake County is partnering with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, the Friends of Headlands Beach, and the Lake Side Flea for a special summer sandsculpture event!
Lake Side Flea X Mystic Market
Lake Side Mystic is a free community arts event consisting of 100+ market vendors, food trucks, beach yoga, live music, and family activities, bringing together community from the surrounding areas of: Lake County, Cleveland, Akron, Columbus, and Cincinnati to Headlands Beach State Park in Mentor, Ohio.
The goal is to uplift and support Ohio small businesses and continue the summer family tradition of Lake Side Mystic on the shores of Lake Erie.
Friends of Headlands Beach
The Friends of Headlands Beach State Park is an organization of diverse, passionate, and dedicated people pledged to assist in the support of park preservation, programs, projects, and promotion through fundraising, volunteering, and by in-kind considerations.
The Friends of Headlands Beach State Park is an Ohio 501c3 non-profit group dedicated to preserving and enhancing the park's natural beauty.
Featured Sand Sculpture Artist
Carl Jara has been sculpting sand for over three decades and has earned hundreds of medals, fourteen of them being from the World Championships! He has even worked in more than 12 countries and three dozen states!
