7 Things To Do During Ohio Wine Month🍷

Laurello Vineyards

June is Ohio Wine Month

June was designated as Ohio Wine Month and what better way to enjoy Ohio’s Wine Country than to celebrate in the Grand River Valley?

The Grand River Valley Wine Region is a federally designated American Viticultural Area (AVA) located within two miles of Ohio’s Grand River! The area was formed by retreating glaciers that carved out the Great Lakes and deposited a ridge of fertile soil ideal for the cultivation of vineyards.

A slovenian flag can be seen hanging in the tasting room at Debonné Vineyards. Here, his grapes and homemade wine laid the foundation for what is now Ohio's biggest estate winery. Today, Tony Debevc (Anton’s grandson) and his wife Beth supervise the beautiful, bustling winery.
