Morley Library will be hosting two programs Nov. 2 for children and families.

A Día de los Muertos Celebration for children and families will take place 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the library’s Children’s Floor. Stop in to celebrate this traditional Hispanic festival honoring the dear departed by creating beautiful artwork in their memory, according to a news release. No registration required.

Children and families also are invited to enjoy Sugar Skulls (Calaveritas de Azúcar) during one of two sessions — 11 a.m. or 11:30 a.m.

Sugar skulls are used in Mexico to represent dead family members. Kids can decorate a sugar skull with royal icing. Afterwards, enjoy the library’s displays, crafts and a scavenger hunt.

Register for a time slot at www.morleylibrary.org or call the Children’s Floor at 440-352-3383.

The library is located at 184 Phelps St. in Painesville.
