Mentor Public Library is hosting an education and palate-pleasing wine tasting at 11 a.m., June 15, at Ferrante Winery, 5585 State Route 307 in Geneva.

For $25, attendees can be the first to sample the newest upcoming wine releases conducted in the winery’s own cellar with winemaker Nick Ferrante. The wines will be in their formative stage and starting to show the qualities imparted by the French oak barrels in which they’ve matured, according to a news release.

There will also be small plates and additional wine samples.

Participants must be 21 or older.

Registration is required to attend. Those who are interested must sign up at the Information Desk inside of Mentor Public Library’s Main Branch, 8215 Mentor Ave. The $25 will be collected when registering.
