Tourism Ohio Debuts New Spring Events Guide
COLUMBUS, Ohio) – As flowers bloom and warm breezes return, so does a fresh lineup of can’t-miss events across Ohio. To help travelers make the most of the season, TourismOhio is launching the official 2025 Ohio Spring Events Guide, now available at Ohio.org.
The guide highlights five standout events from each of Ohio’s 88 counties, showcasing a total of 440 must-see happenings and experiences across the state. Organized by month and region, the guide is the ultimate roadmap to discovering Ohio’s most unique and unforgettable spring adventures.
“Spring is nearly here, and Ohio is already buzzing with hundreds of incredible events,” said Lydia Mihalik, director of the Ohio Department of Development, which oversees TourismOhio. “Attending a local event is the perfect way to embrace the season, explore a new community, and create lasting memories with family and friends.”
The cover features a mother and child enjoying the tulip fields at Timbuk Farms in Licking County, home to the 3rd Annual Tulip Festival—an event featured in the guide with dates dependent on bloom conditions.
To curate the list, TourismOhio consulted with county visitors bureaus across the state. Events range from opening days at amusement parks and baseball parks to festivals featuring ice wine, maple syrup, and birding. Travelers can also find anniversary events and holiday celebrations like St. Patrick’s Day parades and Easter egg rolls.
“Spring in Ohio brings more than just warm breezes—it sparks a season of excitement, with communities coming alive through one-of-a-kind festivals and events,” said State Tourism Director Sarah Wickham. “Our local partners continue to raise the bar, creating unforgettable experiences that make Ohio a top destination for travelers looking to celebrate the season.”
TourismOhio research shows that 12 percent of overnight trips in Ohio in 2023 were to attend a special event. In addition, 84 percent of Ohio’s 2023 overnight visitors said they were likely to visit Ohio again in the next 12 months.
